Certified manual physical therapist and the founder of Integrated Physical Therapy in Raleigh, NC. My passion for helping people started in high school while assisting with recovery efforts after a natural disaster. This experience marked me and made me realize the difference one person can make by helping those in need.
After earning my biochemistry degree at Samford University in Birmingham, AL, I pursued my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). During my time at UAB, I discovered my interest in manual therapy, a hands-on approach to physical therapy that provides pain relief by manipulating body movements.
My career began at a sports medicine and manual therapy clinic, where I completed a mentorship with a manual therapy certified (MTC) and Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) physical therapist. This mentorship accelerated my skills and helped me become proficient in manual therapy. Over the course of three years, I obtained a Certificate of Manual Therapy (COMT), solidifying my expertise.
With my extensive knowledge of manual therapy and background in sports medicine, I am able to assist clients of all ages. I specialize in treating the spine and athletic injuries to the shoulder and knee. I started Integrated PT as a place to provide tangible solutions to pain, to be a trusted resource to guide people on their individual health journey. I have often observed individuals get stuck in our healthcare system with confusion and lack of clarity. My goal is for you to do what you love, pain free!
Outside the clinic, you can usually find me enjoying life with my wife, two daughters, and our golden retriever, Bear. I love exercising, running, basketball, football, mountain biking, and water sports. I am a lifelong Alabama football fan, Roll Tide! I'm also dedicated to my local church and passionate about supporting both local and international initiatives that make a difference in the lives of those in need.
